ResultSignal Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ResultSignal (the “Service”), including resultsignal.com, ai.resultsignal.com, and related applications, operated by LinkView, LLC (“ResultSignal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ResultSignal provides AI visibility intelligence for financial institutions and related organizations. The Service may include:

  • Monitoring how generative AI systems mention, cite, or recommend your firm and competitors
  • Dashboards, prompts, citation analytics, snapshots, reports, and GEO (generative engine optimization) program features
  • Optional paid subscriptions and managed-service add-ons
  • Account workspaces, team access, and related settings where enabled

We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. Output from the Service is informational only and is not legal, investment, compliance, marketing, or professional advice.

3. Where Service Data Comes From

ResultSignal collects and analyzes responses from third-party artificial intelligence and search systems (for example ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews / Gemini, and similar providers) by sending research prompts and recording what those systems return — including brand mentions, citations, links, and related text.

We do not create or own the underlying AI answers. Those answers are generated by third-party AI providers in response to prompts. ResultSignal organizes, attributes, summarizes, and displays that third-party output for your internal business use. We do not claim that AI responses, third-party website content, citation lists, or competitor information originate from ResultSignal or are ResultSignal’s proprietary data.

Third-party AI providers may change their models, policies, ranking, or availability at any time. Coverage across providers is not guaranteed to be complete or continuous.

4. AI Output May Be Wrong

Generative AI systems frequently produce incomplete, outdated, biased, or incorrect information. Mentions, citations, rankings, and recommendations shown in ResultSignal may:

  • Misstate facts about your firm, competitors, products, or markets
  • Omit brands that should appear or invent brands that do not
  • Vary between runs, models, regions, or time periods
  • Reflect training data, web retrieval, or provider policies we do not control

You must independently verify any important finding before making business, marketing, compliance, or client-facing decisions. ResultSignal is a visibility monitoring tool — not a guarantee of accuracy, placement, or outcomes in any AI system.

5. License; No Resale or Redistribution

Subject to these Terms and your subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and Service output solely for your organization’s internal business purposes.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercialize ResultSignal data, reports, prompts, snapshots, or analytics as a standalone product or data feed
  • Publish, scrape, bulk-export, or redistribute Service output to third parties for their commercial use (except limited sharing of client-ready reports we expressly enable in-product)
  • Use the Service to build a competing AI-visibility, citation-monitoring, or GEO product
  • Remove proprietary notices or represent third-party AI content as your original work or as ResultSignal’s factual assertions

In-product share links and PDF/report exports are allowed only for your normal client or internal reporting, not as a data-resale channel.

6. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@resultsignal.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Information you provide must be accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or in violation of third-party rights
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, paywalls, or security controls
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as allowed by law
  • Upload malware, interfere with other users, or harvest data without authorization
  • Misrepresent affiliation with ResultSignal or any third party
  • Treat Service output as legal, compliance, investment, or professional advice without independent verification
  • Use prompts or configurations intended solely to harass, defame, or unlawfully obtain confidential information about third parties

8. Your Content and Firm Information

You retain ownership of information you submit about your firm (for example brand names, domains, service areas, notes, and competitors you configure). You grant us a license to host, process, and display that information solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to provide that information and to monitor AI visibility for the brands and domains you configure.

9. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans and add-ons (including the GEO Program), if offered, are billed according to the pricing and billing cycle shown at purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing. We may change prices with advance notice for renewal periods. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of paid features.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service — including software, design, trademarks, documentation, dashboards, and our aggregations, rankings, and presentation of monitoring results — is owned by LinkView, LLC / ResultSignal or its licensors. Third-party AI responses and third-party website content remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners and providers.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that AI visibility metrics are complete or accurate; that any AI provider will mention, cite, or recommend your firm; that competitors or citations are correctly identified; or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on Service output.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESULTSIGNAL, LINKVIEW, LLC, AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT DISPLAYED IN THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR RESULTSIGNAL IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ResultSignal and LinkView, LLC from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, content you submit, redistribution or resale of Service output in violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service or other users, or as required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including license restrictions, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive termination.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes arising from these Terms lies in the state or federal courts located in Vermont, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
